Mission Andalusia
The goal in life is to declare the glory of God to people all around us. This does not mean that we can only do missions in far away countries or other states, but we also need to focus on our friends and neighbors right here in our own community.
Mission Andalusia is an exciting opportunity to give students a chance to minister to children and families in our own community.
Students and adults will spend the mornings at a local neighborhood holding a backyard Bible club/day camp for the children in the area. These mornings will consist of games, drama, music, teaching, and sharing Christ’s love. The afternoons will be set aside for service projects such as light construction, yard work, painting, etc.
We are asking for a commitment from you as if we were going out of town for this mission project. However, the best part of doing missions in our community is you may still be part of the experience even if you have to miss a morning or afternoon. As time gets closer we will ask you to fill out a form letting us know if you will be with us the entire time or if there is something you must be away for. Please note that a job, school, or family emergencies are the only exceptions. Otherwise, we do expect you to be committed. <!--EndFragment-->
